What was needed

A portable, interactive system for costing paint jobs for large ships

What Sodapop did

We built a self-contained app in Flash and Director which allowed Jotun reps to accurately quote large jobs from their laptop, and save the data for later use. The app is built on logic derived from a series of Excel spreadsheets, but has grown over the years to include such things as cost savings from paint smoothing by the action of the seawater over time. It's really quite complicated!
